Wendy Kay Barron

Wendy Kay Barron sadly passed away on April 20^th 2023, at the age of 52. She was a good mother who brought laughter and joy to all that knew her. She loved fiercely and without restraint. Best known as Crazy Aunt Wendy. She married Woodrow Vickrey 1989 in McKinney, TX. Where she had 2 beautiful children Woodrow Vickrey JR and Morgan Vickrey. She was predeceased by her Father Charles Barron, Mother Ruthie Tobias, Step-father William Tobias Jr, Step-mother Ann Barron, Brothers Samuel and Timothy Barron. She is survived by her son Woodrow Vickrey JR, Daughter Morgan Villarreal, Grandson Ethan Holbrook, Daughter in law Zari Villarreal, Sisters Julie Head, Cindy Warren, Tina Tobias, and Brothers Charles Barron Jr, David Barron, Kenneth Barron, and William Tobias 3. As well as numerous cousins, aunts, nieces and nephews.

Wendy was an entrepreneur who enjoyed serving others so much so that she took over Ruthies Catfish and Po-boys food stand, which would bring her so much happiness. Wendy loved softball, her children and her grandson Ethan the absolute most; constantly hinting or teasing for another grandchild. It wouldn’t be right if we didn’t mention her love for the Cowboys. She was known for her outgoing energy, unconventional ways and wild spirit. Wendy will be missed dearly.
