Victoria “Tori” Marie Morris, 22, of Princeton, Texas, passed away on Friday, August 22, 2025.
Born on May 9, 2003, in Allen, Texas, to Randall and Joell Morris, Tori was a bright light whose joy, laughter, and kind heart touched everyone who knew her. She grew up with a love for animals, children, and family, and she had a gift for making others feel welcome and loved.
Tori will be remembered for her compassion, sense of humor, adventurous spirit, and love of life, and for the countless memories she created with her family and friends. She leaves behind her fiancé, Benjamin Haley; her fur babies, Nelson and Maggie; her parents, Randall and Joell Morris; her brother, Paul and wife, Kristyn Morris; nieces, Macie and Lettie Morris; grandparents, John and Lucretia Hardin and Gary and Lou Holly, and Donna Morris; uncles, Wes and wife, Amanda Shivers, and Jonathan and wife, Robyn Holly; and aunt, Vonnie Morris, as well as a host of extended family and friends who cherished her deeply.
Tori graduated from Princeton High School in May 2021 where she excelled in the Future Farmers of America by showing goats and lambs. She won Grand Champion at many Jackpot Shows and made the sale at the Texas State Fair and Houston Livestock Shows.
She earned her Certified Nursing Assistant Certification in Oklahoma and worked at Harmon Memorial Hospital in Hollis, Oklahoma. She worked at Primrose School of Frisco at Main and Teel for two years where she discovered her love for children and created many lasting friendships with parents, coworkers, and children. She graduated from Collin College with her Associates of Applied Science in Surgical Technology. She began her career as a Certified Surgical Technologist at Medical Center in McKinney, Texas. She blossomed as she assisted in bringing babies into the world. She loved the many friendships that she created there within her work family. A celebration of Tori’s life will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Charles W. Smith and Sons Funeral Home in Lavon, Texas with Jared Maier officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 29 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Charles W. Smith and Sons Funeral Home in Lavon, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Jerry Morris; grandmother, Paula Cook; and numerous great grandparents.
Her time with us was far too short, but her love and light will live on in all those whose lives she touched. She will be missed until we see her again.
