Sylvia Jo Reeves was born during a 6 month ministry visit in Roswell, New Mexico to assist Rev and Mrs. Horace Reeves, her grandparents.
She attended White Settlement High School in White Settlement, Texas. She married Paul Litle in 1952. Their only daughter Rebecca was born in January 1954.
She later furthered her education beginning college with her daughter the same day, earning 3 college degrees completing her masters in Elementary education at TCU in Fort Worth, Texas.
She moved to McKinney, Texas in 2002 to assist her daughter and family in caring for her aging mother, Oma Lee Reeves.
She was an employee at the Lake Forrest Wal-Mart on the first day it opened, working various positions. She often shared stories of how she helped get the “bad guys” for their loss prevention department.
After leaving Walmart she came home to be a full-time great-grandmother and went on many adventures in many states, visiting historical and fun places.
One of her favorite activities at home was watching tv, The Waltons, Wheel of Fortune, and Touched By an Angel. She loved to work on and cut flash cards for Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes and has already cut over 500 for the 2026 Christmas Season!
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
