Susan O'Quinn Roberts

October 19, 1960 — January 2, 2026

McKinney, Texas

Susan O’Quinn Roberts passed away on January 2, 2026 surrounded by her kids and pets after a long, hard-fought cancer battle. Susan was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, friend and is now with her beloved Lord and Savior.

Susan was born on October 19th, 1960 to Chester and Faye O’Quinn in Birmingham, Alabama. Her favorite things in life were Alabama Football, Steve’s cooking, the beach, reading, playing cards, and last but not least, her family and friends. To know Susan was to love Susan. Susan and Steve created a beautiful life together - a true definition of soulmates. Their warm and welcoming home was open to anyone and everyone, and their kids continue to carry on that same legacy. In her final days, Susan shared she knew “Steve was up there cooking” and we are at peace knowing they are reunited once again, along with Susan’s parents and sister Jan.

Susan is survived by her children, Reese (Brittany) and Holly (Taylor); granddaughter Quinn (4 years); dog Zeke; cat Tucker; sister Lee Anne (Bill) Bowling; brother-in-law Bruce (Sue) Young; sister-in-law Connie (Dee) Parker; brothers-in-law Dennis (Suzanne) Roberts and Randy Roberts; nieces and nephews Beth (Leigh) Carlson-Young, Lindsay (Brian) Lanford, Will (Shannon) Young, Sean Culverhouse, Bart (Becky) Copeland, Keri (Kyle) Garrett, Whit (Melissa) Roberts, and Beth (Todd) Smith, and numerous great nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Tupp’s Brewery in McKinney, Texas on Saturday, January 10 at 2pm where we will share our favorite memories of Susan and toast to her well-fulfilled life. Kids are welcome.
