Princeton, Texas

Susan Elaine Jarzombek, 61, passed away unexpectedly on March 11, 2026, at home in Princeton, Texas. She was born on October 7, 1964, in Lyons, Kansas, to James and Patsy.

Susan was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. Her kindness and compassion touched everyone who knew her. She shared 28 loving years of marriage with her husband, Steve, building a life centered on family, love, and unwavering support for one another.

Susan worked for Collin County for 26 years, where she was known for her strong work ethic, dedication, deep compassion, and commitment to helping others. Susan consistently went above and beyond expectations, leaving a lasting impact on both the people she served and the colleagues who had the privilege of working alongside her.

Family was the heart of Susan’s life. She was a proud and loving mother and an adoring grandmother who found her greatest joy in spending time with her two grandchildren. She loved spoiling them and making memories that will be cherished forever. Her warmth, encouragement, and unconditional love were gifts that shaped her family’s lives.

Susan also had a deep love for animals and never turned away a stray in need. Her home and her heart were always open, reflecting the caring nature that defined her life. Known for lighting up any room she entered, Susan had an infectious laugh and a spirit that made people feel welcome and loved. She stood firm in what she believed in and approached life with compassion, strength, and sincerity. The world is a darker place without her light, but the love she shared will continue to shine through the many lives she touched.

Susan is survived by her beloved husband, Steve; her son Kevin and his wife Crystal; and her two cherished grandchildren, Alyssa and Logan; her mother, Patsy; 5 brothers and sisters, along with many extended family members and friends who will deeply miss her.

Until we reunite again in Heaven, Susan’s legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to family will always live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
