Stanley Merle Biel

Stanley Merle Biel, of Lavon, Texas, passed away peacefully in his sleep on June 25th, 2025, at the age of 85.

Born on December 12th, 1939, in Artas, South Dakota. Early in his life, Stanley proudly served his country in the Navy aboard the USS Midway.

Stanley dedicated much of his life to working with heavy equipment, helping to build roads and contributing to the open-pit mining industry. Known for his strong work ethic and steady presence, Stanley took pride in a career that helped shape the infrastructure around him.

Stanley is survived by his beloved wife, Darlene Biel; his children, Brian Biel, Carla Crouse, Renee Roberts, and Shannon Sennett; and his grandchildren, Ryan, Bryce, Austin, Tanner, Jesse, Raeanna, Jasmine, Hayden, and Madison.

Stanley was preceded in death by his parents; John Biel, and Susan Huber; and his sisters; Bernice and Jeanette.

A small graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on July 2, 2025, at Lake View Cemetery, located at 2343 Gage Road & Hwy 78, Lavon, TX 75166.

Stanley will be remembered for his quiet strength, dedication to his family, and the lasting impact of his life's work.
