Sharon Marie Kramer

May 3, 1951 — February 1, 2026

Wylie

Sharon Marie Kramer, 74, of Mineola, TX passed away on February 1, 2026 in Wylie, TX. She was born to Rev. Harold and Corene Saulters on May 3, 1951 in Waco, TX.

Standing no more than 4’10’’, Sharon stayed small all her life but had the biggest heart and widest grin. An adept cross-stitcher with a gentle spirit and ever-present chuckle, she may have seemed quiet, but growing up with three rowdy brothers meant she had plenty to say. As the only daughter, she shared a special bond with her mother, Corene. In 1969, before Sharon even left home for college, Corene had already found a way to keep her close—buying herself a lapdog and naming it Sharron.

Sharon blossomed in Spartanburg, South Carolina where she spent many years working as a CPA with degrees from Texas Bible College, Spartanburg Technical College, and Limestone College. She moved back to Mineola in the early 2000s, settling down just up the road from her mother.

Sharon spent the majority of the past 20 years as her mother’s caretaker and all of them as her best friend. Together they shared Dairy Queen lunches, a pew at New Life Mineola, and responsibility for the neighborhood’s many stray cats. Sharon’s favorite, a shy calico named Molly, took up residence in her backyard toolshed.

She lived a humble life, but was proud of her thoughtfully and seasonally decorated home. In it, she found room to fit the ever-growing Saulters family on many Thanksgivings and welcomed visitors year-round. She was always sure to offer you a Dr. Pepper with a straw stuck through the pull-tab before you could even sit down.

In recent years, she kept a stack of yellow legal pads in her coffee table drawer. At the end of each day, she jotted down three thanksgivings. A diary of sorts—never the same, covering the big and the small, always addressed to her Creator:

1. Thank you God that you love us and meet our needs and wants

2. Thank you God that you are patient with us humans

3. Thank you God that you have blessed me in so many ways

She is preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Harold and Corene Saulters, and brother, Eugene Saulters. She is survived by her two brothers, Donnie and Johnnie Saulters of Garland, and Johnny and Alice Saulters of Caddo Mills; sister-in-law Lana Saulters of Garland, and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, church family, and friends.
