Santiago Acosta Jr., beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away on May 18, 2025, at the age of 23. Born on December 21, 2001, in Greenville, Texas, Santiago was a shining light whose energy and charisma lit up every room he entered.
As the oldest child of Diana and Santiago Sr., Santiago embraced his role as the protective older brother to his siblings Janette, Lyndsay, and Abraham. He shared a deep and unbreakable bond with them, always looking out for them with the kind of fierce loyalty that only a brother can give. Santiago made it his mission to ensure his family was taken care of in every way possible. He put their needs above his own, never resting until he knew they were safe, supported, and happy. His love for his family was the guiding force of his life.
Santiago worked at People’s Construction, where he was deeply respected by his colleagues and higher-ups, Edgar and Nik. With an unmatched work ethic and an unwavering dedication to his team, he consistently strived to push the team to higher goals. He led by example, inspiring those around him with his commitment, passion, and genuine care for others.
Outside of work, Santiago had an unquenchable passion for anything automotive—cars and motorcycles alike. He was a true adrenaline junkie at heart, always chasing the next thrill with a fearless smile and an infectious laugh. His quick humor, high energy, and adventurous spirit made him unforgettable to everyone who knew him.
To his best friend, Sharuk, Santiago was more than just a friend—he was a brother. Growing up together since childhood, they did absolutely everything side by side, from buying new cars to causing mischief on weekends. Their bond was one of laughter, trust, and countless unforgettable memories.
Known by all as a “walking angel,” Santiago radiated kindness and warmth. His presence brought light and laughter to every moment, and his dedication to his family and friends was unwavering.
