Rosalie Lorraine Feece

August 26, 1936 — April 28, 2026

Sachse

Rosalie Lorraine Feece passed away peacefully, husband at her side, on April 29, 2026 at the age of 89 in Sachse, Texas from a years-long battle with vascular dementia. She is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, John Feece; her three daughters, Dottie Wagle, Debra Hershon (Marc), Dianne Stokes (Jeffrey); three stepsons, Ronald Feece (Glenda), David Feece (Kimber), Douglas Feece (Jean); as well as 14 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her cherished brother, William Frazier, and her daughter, Denette Huff.

Rosalie was born in Santa Monica, California on August 26, 1936 to Joe and Lorraine Blandino (nee Dorward). Lorraine divorced and later remarried Curtis Frazier who raised Rosalie and her brother Bill. In 1953, Rosalie married William F. Huff and eventually moved to the Bay Area where the couple raised their four daughters. After a divorce, she married John Feece in 1972 and raised her extended family living in Saratoga and later Los Gatos. In 2008, John and Rosalie moved to The Villages, a retirement community in east San Jose, and then to Texas in 2022.

Rosalie’s husband John was an airline pilot for many years, so they two were able to travel extensively around the world and had homes in Los Gatos and Bass Lake, California, as well as Waikiki, Hawaii. They also ran a successful real estate management company together before retiring and moving to Texas. Rosalie was an excellent accountant/bookkeeper, an avid reader, but most importantly, the glue that kept her family together.

Nothing in life made her happier than to be surrounded by family and friends — cooking, laughing and sharing a glass of wine … or her favorite, a gin and tonic!
