Robert was a Superintendent for the City of Dallas Sanitation Department, worked in the Copeville Water Supply Corporation and was on the Water Board of Copeville, Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Bettie, his step-daughter Tresia (Kenny) Andrews, his son Ronnie (Fonda) Ritchie, his son Billy, his daughter Nanetta (Bill) Waits, and his son Robert Ritchie, Jr. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents W. E. and Ruth Ritchie.
