Robert Dale Carter

November 16, 1960 — May 18, 2023

Sachse

Robert Dale Carter, "Dale," passed from this life and entered into his heavenly home on May 18, 2023. He was born to Robert "Bob" Clay Carter and Junia "June" LaVance (Morris) Carter on November 16, 1960, at Baylor Hospital in Dallas.

Dale graduated from J.J. Pearce High School and pursued his passion in the automotive industry. He had a true passion for working on cars and fixing anything that had a motor and earned his Automotive Service Excellence accreditation in 1987. Dale attended Texas AeroTech School of Aviation Maintenance and pursued a career in the aviation industry, but ultimately returned to his true calling - working on cars. Throughout his 40 years in the industry, he earned a reputation for being a true expert in his craft. Employers and coworkers alike deferred to him in hard-to-diagnose problems and sought his advice and guidance, which he always gave with joy, up until his final days. His love for cars was second only to that of his love for his family and friends.

Dale's only child, his son Daniel, was born in 1987, and currently serves in the U.S. Army. He has three beautiful grandkids, 2 granddaughters, Kaleigh and Khloe, and a grandson Sebastian who will carry on the family name. He was incredibly proud of his son and his family. He would speak of them  as often as he could to family and friends for as long as they would listen. Even though distance often separated them, he would call often and go visit as much as he could.

He is survived by:
His son Daniel, daughter-in-law Alicia, grandkids Kaleigh, Khloe, and Sebastian.
His big sister Charlene Sanders.
His big brother David Carter.
His longtime girlfriend Jadzia Helms, who was his rock and kept him centered.
His nieces and nephews.
His cousins and friends.

Dale now goes to join his parents Bob and June Carter from Richardson; his grandparents BJ and Margaret Morris of Pauls Valley Oklahoma, Jewell Bagley Carter of Fort Worth; numerous cousins and friends. All of whom will greet him with warmth and love.
