Richard Wayne Pennington

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Rick Pennington, a devoted husband and father. He passed away peacefully on April 19, 2026, with his loving wife, Deana, by his side.

Rick proudly served as a submariner in the United States Navy for six years. He dedicated 40 years of his career to Mesa Petroleum, followed by 10 years with Atmos Energy, from which he retired.

Rick is survived by his wife, Deana Pennington; his son and daughter and their spouses, two stepsons and their spouses, ten grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
