Richard was Born on a Saturday May 25th, 1935, to Carl Rucker Hamill and Clara Lee Cody here in Texas.
He is survived by his daughter Dawn and her husband Brad Hubbard of Cedar Hill. Grand-daughter Andrea Robin Goldstein of Dallas, Grandson Brandon Cody Hubbard of Copperas Cove, Grand-daughter Amanda Dawn Alexander and her husband Micheal Alexander of Grand Prairie.
As well as Grandsons Jeremy, Jerid, and Justin Hamill living in various states.
Nephew Donald Lewis Cody of Dickinson.
And seven great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Patricia Dawn (Kemp)of 67 years, his son Richard Warren Hamill, and by two brothers, Billy Warren Cody and Donald Ray Hamill.
Richard was an outgoing and loving person. He looked forward to camping, fishing, and going hunting with friends and family when the opportunities came about. His biggest passion in life was his wife and going fishing any chance he could. Especially for those big bass. But he mostly enjoyed getting to tell his stories to someone about the ones that got away.
He treasured spending time with his family. Whether it was at home sharing a home cooked meal or just visiting with each other.
I'm sure that it is agreed by his family and friends alike that he will truly be missed.
