Robert Dwayne Davenport , 52, died on January 15, 2012. He was born in Mexico, Missouri on May 25, 1959 to Robert and Lorena Davenport.
In 1983 he joined the Air Force and had a very distinguished career, serving in Incirlik, Turkey as a communications specialist. He received several medals for good conduct, marksmanship, and running a communications site without difficulty for eight years. Upon his death, Dwayne worked for AT&T as a communications specialist.
Dwayne is survived by his wife, Carol, children Nicholas, Kyle and Cara Davenport, his mother, Lorena Davenport, of Mexico, Missouri, a niece, Kala Baugh and a nephew, Jacob Davenport.
Dwayne was preceded in death by his father, Robert Davenport, and his brother, Alan Davenport.
Services will be Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at 2:00 pm. They will take place at Charles W. Smith Funeral Home in McKinney, Texas, 601 S. Tennessee, McKinney, Texas 75069.
