Norma Mederos-Sanchez

Con profundo dolor, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Norma Guadalupe Mederos-Sanchez, una esposa, madre, hija, hermana y abuela devota y amorosa. Norma entró en el descanso eterno rodeada del amor de su familia.

La vida de Norma estuvo bellamente definida por su generosidad, compasión y profundo amor por quienes la rodeaban. Siempre puso a los demás primero y cuidó de su familia con una dedicación inmensurable. Su comida y recetas eran inolvidables y unió a generaciones iempre hecha con amor y compartida con cualquiera que cruzara su puerta. Norma tenía un maravilloso sentido del humor y una luz capaz de iluminar cualquier espacio amaba hacer reír a los demás y llevó alegría a todos los que la conocieron. Encontraba felicidad en los pequeños placeres de la vida y vivió con un corazón cálido y una mano siempre abierta.

Norma estuvo casada con el amor de su vida, Asunción, con quien compartió 35 maravillosos años de matrimonio. Fue una madre orgullosa y adoraba a sus hijos y nietos más allá de las palabras. Sus nietos Alexa, Colton y Valerie fueron su mayor alegría, y atesoró cada momento a su lado, siempre consintiéndolos con cariño, regalos y un amor sin fin.

Norma fue una de 12 hermanos, y la familia fue el centro de todo lo que hizo. Ahora se reúne con su padre, Manuel, y sus hermanos Beto, Sonia y Juan, quienes la recibieron en el cielo con los brazos abiertos.

Le sobreviven su amado esposo, Asunción; sus hijos Miguel y Chonito; sus hijas Alejandra y Brenda; y sus amados nietos Alexa Velasquez, Colton Morrissette y Valerie Velazquez. También le sobreviven su madre, Guadalupe Quiroz; y sus hermanos Raúl, Blanca, Martha, Jaime, Manuel, Francisco, Mirna y Rosy.

Norma será recordada por siempre por su fortaleza, generosidad, sentido del humor y el amor infinito que compartió con todos a su alrededor. Su legado vive en los corazones de todos los que tuvieron la dicha de conocerla.

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Norma Guadalupe Mederos-Sanchez, a devoted and loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother. Norma entered eternal rest surrounded by the love of her family.

Norma’s life was beautifully defined by her generosity, compassion, and deep love for those around her. She always put others first and cared for her family with immeasurable devotion. Her cooking was unforgettable and brought together generations—always made with love and shared with anyone who walked through her door. Norma had a wonderful sense of humor and a light that could brighten any room; she loved making others laugh and brought joy to everyone she encountered. She found happiness in the simple pleasures of life and lived with a warm heart and an open hand.

Norma was married to the love of her life, Asunción, with whom she shared 35 wonderful years of marriage. She was a proud mother and adored her children and grandchildren beyond measure. Her grandchildren Alexa, Colton, and Valerie, were her greatest joy, and she cherished every moment with them, always spoiling them with affection, gifts, and endless love.

Norma was one of 12 siblings, and family was at the center of everything she did. She now rejoins her father, Manuel, and her siblings Beto, Sonia, and Juan, who welcomed her into heaven with open arms.

She is survived by her loving husband, Asunción; her sons Miguel and Chonito; her daughters Alejandra and Brenda; and her beloved grandchildren Alexa Velasquez, Colton Morrissette, and Valerie Velazquez. She is also survived by her mother, Guadalupe Quiroz; and her siblings Raúl, Blanca, Martha, Jaime, Manuel, Francisco, Mirna, and Rosy.

Norma will be forever remembered for her strength, generosity, humor, and the endless love she shared with everyone around her. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
