Natasha Christina Race, age 36, passed away peacefully on April 28th, 2026 in Princeton, Tx.

Tasha was born on 4-20-1990 in Irving, Texas to James Race and Nadia Pabon Race.

She graduated from North McKinney High school with a GED in 2010. Sheprimarily worked as a waitress at Texas Roadhouse and Ollive Garden.

Tasha was very outgoing and loved people. She loved her friends very deeply –especially Brittany Nicole Miller and her daughter Madeline – and Patty Kirbyand her daughter Jadyn Kirby. Many summer nights Tasha would inviteMadeline, Jayen, and another friend of theirs for sleepovers – and build tents inthe upstairs game room for them to sleep in and tell each other stories.

Tasha’s first kiss was with her 7th grade boyfriend Tyler Lee – and ironically, theyreconnected about four years before her death and were partners until her passing.

Tasha unknowingly had the BRCA cancer genes and was diagnosed with stage 4breast cancer in September of 2024 – and rarely complained going through a longseries of cancer treatments. She passed away peacefully with her boyfriend next to her.

Tasha is survived by her father, James Race, her mother, Nadia Pabon Race, her aunts and uncles, Joan Bowlby, Amanda Meglathery, Carmen and Ephrim Lamberty, Cindee and James Roach, and cousins Jerrod and Jessie Gosdin, Jeff and Christie Gosdin, Ashley and Peter Seefeldt, Irma and Joan Race and her cousins’ six children.

Funeral services will be at Charles W. Smith & Son Funeral Home in McKinney. Her service will be Saturday May 9th at 2:00pm. If led, please make contributions to the Americal Cancer Society.
