Life Overview

Michael Halvorson was born on November 30, 1973, in Houston, Texas. Over the course of 51 years, he lived a life filled with love and unforgettable memories. He was known for his kind heart, compassion, love of playing guitar, and passion for rock music.

Career and Passions

Mike’s started a career in computers, where he excelled and assisted people with technology challenges. In his youth he loved playing guitar and drums with his friends. He started a business venture, rebuilding small motors in Colorado. Michael was passionate about his cats, rock music, computers, and having fun with those around him.

Family and Friends

Mike leaves behind Frances Halvorson (mother), Brian & Poev Halvorson (younger brother & his wife), Preston & Justin Halvorson (nephews) , who will forever treasure the moments they spent together. Mike was humble and generous and always willing to lend a helping, such as watching his nephews or brother’s dogs.

Celebration of Life

A small service to honor Mike’s life will be held at Charles W Smith & Sons Funeral Home in Sachse, TX, on July 9th at 2:30 pm. Family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate his life’s journey and share memories.

In Memory

Mike Halvorson’s memory will forever endure in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be remembered for his kind heart, love for animals, long blond hair, quirky humor, and love for family . In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Winston School in his name, supporting a cause he cared deeply about.
