Melissa Renea Hooper

Melissa Renea Hooper (Cisneros) the daughter or Juan Cisneros and Robin Barrientos, died on February 15, 2026 at Baylor Medical City Plano. She was a resident of Royse City at the time of her death and the North East Dallas area for the entirety of her life. Melissa was born on April 19, 1984.

Nobody who ever knew Melissa could deny her tenacity, quick wittedness, or unique sense of humor. Her interests included an unfettered passion for personal growth as her children aged. She returned to school and ultimately graduated in 2025 from Texas A&M University-Commerce with her BS in Nursing. She was passionate about her line of work as a psychiatric nurse and refused to take the “easier” nursing pathways.

Her hobbies included family social events, movies with her dad, and camping in Broken Bow to see all the littles playing together.

She is survived by her five children, Christopher Blake, Avery, Lincoln, Ariel, and Bentley who were in every way her purpose in life.
