Massiel Ruiz Solorzano

Aug 23, 1986 — Oct 4, 2026

Dallas

With broken hearts, we say goodbye to our beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who was unexpectedly taken from us far too soon on October 4, 2026.

Massiel was born August 23, 1986 in Dallas, TX to Alejandro and Maurilia Solorzano.

Massiel had a special way of filling every room with joy. She loved to dance, laugh, sing, and spend time with her family. Her joyful spirit, loving heart, and beautiful personality touched the lives of so many. She had a light about her that made people smile, and her presence brought happiness wherever she went.

Although her time here on earth was far too short, the love, laughter, and beautiful memories she leaves behind will live on forever. Although Massiel is no longer here with us on this earth, we find peace in knowing that she is resting in the arms of Jesus, smiling down on us from above. We take comfort in believing that she is surrounded by His love and that one day, we will be reunited with her again.

Massiel is survived by her parents Alejandro and Maurilia Solorzano; her brothers Alex Solorzano and his wife Larisa; Kelvin Solorzano and his wife Cristina, her sister Jennifer Lafon; her nephews Caydan and Logan Lafon; her nieces Elliana and Layla Solorzano; and many other extended family members and dear friends.

In honor of Massiel's beautiful spirit and the happiness she brought into so many lives, we kindly ask everyone to wear bright, happy colors as we celebrate her life. Bright colors represent who Massiel was- a light to so many, full of joy, love, and life. We want to remember her not only with tears of sadness but also with smiles, laughter, and the beautiful memories she gifted us.

Though our hearts are broken, Massiels light will never fade. She will forever be loved, deeply missed, and carried in our hearts until we meet again in the arms of Jesus.

Isaiah 41:10 "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand".
