Marc Lister

Marc Lister was born on January 9, 1968, in Dallas, Texas to Willie and Vera Lister.

He accepted Christ at an early age—baptized and a member of Golden Gate Missionary Baptist Church. Marc attended Bishop Dunne High School, as well as Kimball High School. He continued his education at Mountain View College and Texas Southern University. Marc received an Associate in Arts degree --with certifications in Computer Information Technology, Networking, and Electronic Technology.

He proudly served in the United States Army.

He dedicated his time serving in the choir and was a member of a few youth organizations. Marc worked for the City of Dallas for many years, as well as various Information Technology leadership positions.

Marc was preceded in death by his mother Vera. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and favored by many.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his loving wife Linda Lister, (Children) Chrystal Grant and Darion Johnson, (Bonus children) Dylan and Jacob Foster, (Grand-daughter) Kyla Johnson, (Father) Willie Lister, (Sisters) Karol Thompson (Scott), and Lisa Jones (Guy), (Nieces) Amira Hamed (Cameron), and London Thompson, (Nephew) MJ Hamed; alongside a multitude of cousins, extended family and friends.
