Lindsay Nicole Caudill, passed away on June 11, 2026, at the age of 31. Born on May 27, 1995, in Dallas, Texas, Lindsay called Lavon, Texas, home and filled every room she entered with her bright smile and infectious laugh.
Lindsay grew up in the Garland area and graduated from Bishop Lynch High School in 2013. She went on to earn her Associate's Degree from Richland College in 2015. Lindsay chose a career in the food service industry and brought joy to those she met with her servant’s heart.
Lindsay was known lovingly as "Punkin" and "Thumper" to those at home, nicknames that captured the warmth and playful energy she carried with her everywhere she went. Those who knew Lindsay knew her sensitive nature, her enthusiasm for life, and her heart for others that seemed to have no limits. She was the kind of person who made everyone feel welcome and who gave freely of herself to the people she cared about. Her devotion to her sister Emily was a particularly beautiful reflection of the person she was. She had the ability to make people feel truly seen and cared for. She loved to have fun, and her generous spirit drew people close and kept them there. More than anything else, family was important to Lindsay. She loved her friends like family, and she loved all her family deeply.
Lindsay is dearly missed by her parents, Roger and Courtney Caudill and Chad and Susie Rogers; her cherished sister, Emily Rogers; and a host of extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jim and Lois Schmidt and Charles and Rena Caudill.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Charles W. Smith and Sons Funeral Home, 2925 Fifth St, Sachse, TX 75048.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks to consider donations to Special Olympics, a cause Lindsay supported, as a reflection of her love and compassion for others.
A life well-lived is simply this…one that adds to the beauty, the goodness, and the love in the world. – Suzanne Berry
