Leon Hernandez, Jr. was born in Rosebud, Texas on November 4, 1943 and passed away on July, 22, 2023. Leon served in the Army for eight years. While in the service, Leon received the National Defense Service Medal, Expert Badge (M16), Bronze Star Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal w/60 Device, Vietnam Service Medal w/7 Campaign Stars, 5 Overseas Service Bars, Good Conduct Medal (Second Award). Leon worked in the Postal Service for many years.
