Kirk Travis Brown, age 54, passed away on November 3, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories and countless people who loved him.
Kirk was a graduate of Plano East Senior High School and the University of North Texas. He retired from Air Liquide after 20+ years of service.
Above all, Kirk was a treasured son, brother, partner, nephew, cousin, neighbor and friend. He had a special place in the hearts of those who knew him, and his friendships and family connections meant so very much to him.
He will always be remembered for being willing to lend a helping hand to everyone. There was nothing he couldn’t fix or do. He never complained and no job was too big or too small. He had a knack for always saying just the right thing. He was witty, loved to get a laugh from anyone, and never said an unkind word about others.
Kirk loved all things outdoors, especially camping and fishing. He found happiness in lake time, trips to the beach, and simply being surrounded by nature. He also had a love for hockey, which he started playing in his early 20s with his brother, enjoying the excitement and camaraderie that came with the game. Kirk embraced the things that brought him joy.
Those who knew Kirk will forever cherish the memories made together, the laughter shared, and the special moments that made him who he was.
Kirk is survived by his loving mother, Pat Brown; his brothers, Michael Brown and Keith Brown; the love of his life, Cheryl Adame, and her children Evan, Avery, and Emmy; aunt and uncle Jeanne and Philip Ham, extended family Carol, Michael and Kelsey Johnson; Ronnie, Shannon, Finley and Parker Radford and many, many dear friends and neighbors who were an important part of his life.
He was preceded in death by his father, Stephen Brown.
Kirk’s passing leaves an immeasurable void in the lives of his family and friends. Though he is no longer with us, the love he shared, the friendships he treasured, and the memories made will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. We can all carry on his legacy by being kind and thoughtful to others.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2026, please contact the family for more information.
