Kimberly Michelle Purifoy was born on November 2, 1975, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to the late Carol Ann Purifoy and Michael Dean Foreman. She peacefully transitioned from this life on August 24, 2026.
Kimberly attended Hall High School, where she was a proud member of the Cheer-O-Kee Drill Team, and graduated with the Class of 1994. She later attended Dillard University in New Orleans, Louisiana, and Tennessee State University.
Kim worked as a Special Education Teacher with the Dallas Independent School District. She was known for her bubbly personality, sweet spirit, kindness, and loving heart. She enjoyed cooking, listening to music, and spending time with her family.
Family meant everything to Kim. She shared a very special bond with her nephew, Dylan Purifoy, whom she helped raise as her own, and she loved being a great-aunt to Avery and Aniyah. She was also a devoted caregiver to her sister, Keisha.
Kimberly was preceded in death by her parents, Carol Ann Purifoy and Michael Dean Foreman.
She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved nephew, Dylan Purifoy (Jasmine); her great-nieces, Avery and Aniyah; her sisters, Keisha Foreman, Tondeekia Finley, Lakethia Foreman, Veronica Foreman, and Tara Foreman; her brothers, Michael J. Foreman (Shonte) and Timothy Ross; her stepmother, Joyce; and a host of other relatives, friends, coworkers, former students, and loved ones.
Kimberly’s loving spirit, beautiful smile, and the joy she brought to others will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
