With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Juan D. Encizo, affectionately known to his family as "Coco," who passed away on October 4, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on June 8, 1949, to Gilberto Encizo and Dolores Dominguez Encizo, Juan was a longtime resident of McKinney, Texas, where he made his home for 56 years.
Juan proudly served his country in the United States Army and was deployed to The Vietnam War. He dedicated 50 years of his life to his career as a professional painter, a trade that reflected his hard work, craftsmanship, and dedication. A man of Baptist faith, Juan lived a life rooted in family, love, and perseverance.
On December 15, 1973, Juan married his beloved wife, Yolanda Ramirez Escamilla, in McKinney, Texas. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love, cherished memories, and a family that would become his greatest legacy.
Family was at the center of Juan's life, and he found his greatest joy in being a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He leaves behind his devoted wife, Yolanda R. Encizo, and his beloved children: Johnny Encizo; Beatrice Bautista and her husband, Eliab Bautista; and Crystal Rangel and her husband, Ben Rangel.
He is also survived by his loving siblings: Jesus Encizo; Manuel Encizo and his wife, Shiela; Gilberto Encizo; Fernando Encizo and his wife, Joyce; Joe Encizo; Lydia Galban and her husband, Rafael Castaneda; and Dolores Gonzales and her husband, Luis.
Juan was a proud and devoted grandfather to Julianna Rangel and her boyfriend, Cameron Smith; Olivia Bautista; Isabella Rangel and her boyfriend, Mateo Mosca; and Amalyah Rangel. His grandchildren held a special place in his heart, and the memories they shared with him will forever be treasured.
Juan was preceded in death by his beloved son, Gilbert Encizo; his grandson, Marcus Isaiah Bautista; and his sister, Rosa Berrios.
Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we find comfort in knowing that Juan's love, strength, and the memories he created will remain with us forever. His legacy lives on through the family he cherished, the lives he touched, and the many years of hard work and dedication that defined his life. He will be remembered for the love he gave, the lessons he shared, and the lasting impression he left on everyone who knew him.
Forever loved, deeply missed, and always remembered, our beloved Coco.
