John Reeder Barkman

John Reeder Barkman, 78, of Garland, TX. passed away on November 13, 2016 in Dallas, TX. He was born on November 10, 1938 in Hooks, TX. to Rollin J. and Clara Ouida (Reeder) Barkman. He was in The U.S. Air Force and later married Sherrie (Hudson) on September 14, 1984 in Garland, TX. He retired as a Printer for Raytheon. He was preceeded in death by his parents, a son; Bradley Thomas Barkman and a sister; Dixie Hudspeth. John is survived by his loving wife; Sherrie Barkman, son; John Keith Barkman and Stepson; John Dowdy lV, 1 daughter; Kristen Kaye Barkman Bowling and (Brady), Chosen daughter; Wanda Dowdy, Grandchildren; Jackson Reed Bowling and John Kayden Barkman, 1 granddaughter; Landry Claire Bowling, 2 chosen grandchildren; Zach Holsclaw and (Sandra), Ashley Stephens and (Jerry). Great granddaughter; Helen Stephens.
