Joe Mack Thomas

Joe Mack "Papa" Thomas was born on July 16, 1943 in Yantis, Texas to Woodard O. & Ina Lucille Thomas and passed away peacefully on June 11, 2021.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents, W.O. & Lucille Thomas; & his wife and mother of his children, Ellen "Elaine" Thomas.
He is survived by his three sons, Johnny "Mack" Thomas (Brenda), Robert "Christopher" Thomas (Candy), and Joe "Scott" Thomas (Tina); 6 grandchildren, Crystal (Richard) Daniel, CJ (Rachel) Thomas, Jada Thomas, Caleigh (Dave) Theriault, Cody (Maggie) Rhew, and Braeden Thomas; & 4 great grandchildren, Jordin & Haydin Daniel, Jacob& Michael Thomas.
Joe was one of the founding members of the Lucas Volunteer Fire Department. He retired as a master welder from Dallas Aeromotive at Love Field. He loved hunting, fishing, and being outside. He was a HAM Radio Operator and talked to people all over the world. He also collected antique clocks. Joe will be missed by all.
