JoAnne Esther Christiansen

JoAnne Christiansen, age 84, was born on December 30, 1932 and passed away on April 8, 2017. She is survived by her husband, James Christiansen; son, Rod Kennec and daughter in-law, Renea Kennec; daughter, Jody Sweet; grandchildren, Spencer Kennec, Kelley Kennec, Miranda Michalski, Chris Michalski, Jordan Sweet, and Grace Sweet; extended grandchildren, Andy Sweet, Michael Sweet, Iliana Sweet; sisters, Julia Hernandez and Lea Little.

She loved her family with all her heart and gave freely of that love. She touched lives with her spunk and determination. She was a woman of faith and taught her family strong values to follow. She will be truly missed by many.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 15th at 2:00pm at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 2925 Fifth Street, Sachse, TX 75048.
