Jo Bland

Jo Bland was born on July 24, 1956 to Johnnie and Theadell Bland of Cedar Hill Texas. She passed away on Nov. 28, 2025 at the age of 69.

She graduated from Texas A&M University, Commerce Tx with a Master of Education, Educational Administration in 1996 and a Bachelor of Business Administration, Marketing in 1978.She is survived by her brother Don Bland, sister Sherry Knight, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends that she adored and loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Kathy Grashel.

Memorial service will be held December 5, 2025 at Charles W. Smith & Sons Chapel in Lavon, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
