Jerry Wayne Vaughn, Sr.

(July 10, 1944 – August 23, 2026)

Went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 23rd, 2026, at the age of 82 years old.

Born on July 10,1944 in Dallas Texas, Jerry was the beloved son of Arvel and Carrie Vaughn who preceded him in death. He was proceeded in death by his loving wife and best friend Jewel Mae and enjoyed 61 years of marriage.

He leaves behind three children, Jerry Vaughn Jr and wife Amy; Sherri Damlow and husband Alvin; Mark Vaughn and wife Christa; and his dear companion Roscoe. Jerry leaves behind 9 grandchildren and 14 great- grandchildren. He leaves behind a sister, Betty Garcia and husband Bill and brother Larry Vaughn. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews and many dear friends. His family was his world.

Jerry was a journeyman mailer throughout his working life. He enjoyed walking with his dog, time with his family, and watching sports. He looked forward to Sunday service every week at Victory Church. He loved visiting with friends in his community.

Dad, we will miss you so. We will always love you.
