**In Loving Memory of Jennifer Leigh Drake Ashworth**

With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jennifer Leigh Drake Ashworth, who passed away on May 29, 2026, at the age of 44. 

Jennifer was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, grandmother, and friend whose kindness, compassion, and generous spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She had a heart full of love and always put her family first. Her strength, warmth, and ability to make others feel cared for will be remembered forever.

 Above all else, Jennifer loved her family. She was a devoted wife and mother who cherished her husband and children and took pride in watching her family grow. Her love was unconditional, and the memories she created with those she loved will continue to bring comfort and strength in the years ahead. 

Jennifer dedicated her life to helping others. Through her work in a group home supporting individuals with special needs, she made a lasting difference in the lives of those she cared for. Her patience, compassion, and servant's heart were evident in both her personal and professional life. She believed everyone deserved kindness, dignity, and love, and she shared those gifts freely. 

Jennifer will be remembered for her caring nature, her sense of humor, her resilience through life's challenges, and the countless ways she showed up for the people she loved. She had a way of making others feel welcomed, understood, and valued. Her laughter, generosity, and beautiful spirit left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know her. 

Jennifer leaves behind her beloved husband, Mandrell Ashworth; her daughters, Jaelyn and Jacey; her sons, Antwain, Jamar and his wife, Latesha, and Terrell; and her future son-in-law, Jayden. 

She is also survived by her loving mothers, Karen Williams, Stephanie Drake, and Vanessa Hubbard; her Bonus Dad David Woods; her Aunt, Christi Drake; her siblings, Jerry Tillery and his wife, Beverly, Shelly Adley and her husband, Michael, Chrystal Grubaugh and her husband, Jason, Brittany Melton and her husband, Marshall, Brandy Drake, and Roy Drake; her sister-in-law, Kenessa Hubbard; and her cherished granddaughters, Alana,Brielle, and Nova. As well as numerous nieces and nephews that all loved her dearly. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Woody Drake; her daughter, Ashley; and her sister, Angie Kines and numerous grandparents. While her passing leaves an immeasurable void in our hearts, we find peace in knowing she has been reunited with them. 

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that Jennifer's legacy lives on through the lives she touched and the love she shared so freely. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. 

**Celebration of Life** 

A Celebration of Life honoring Jennifer Leigh Drake Ashworth will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Charles W. Smith and Sons Funeral Home at the intersection of North State Highway 78 and West FM 6, Lavon, Texas 75166. Family and friends are invited to gather following the service at the Adley family home, located at 4622 County Road 2596, Royse City, Texas 75189, to celebrate Jennifer's life, share memories, and honor the beautiful impact she had on all who knew and loved her.
