James Wayne West (68) passed away December 10, 2012. He was born in Salem, Oregon. Parents Almedia Morrow West and Basil C. West. He is survived by his wife Mary; sons - Chris, Mark, Brian; daughters - Britney, Sarah; grandchildren - Caleb, Destiny, Braylen and brother Dennis.
After high school, James was a decorated Vietnam veteran who served honorably in the Marine Corps for six years.
James worked in the insurance business for over 44 years and was a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Round Table.
James had a passion for bass fishing and he was truly loved by all whom he touched in life.
The Memorial service will be held at Eastgate Funeral Home on Thursday, December 20, 2012, 2:00 PM.
A Military service will be held on Friday, December 21, 2012, 11:00 AM at the Dallas - Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211.
