Horace Wayne Davis

Horace “Wayne” Davis peacefully passed away, Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at the age of 90 in Greenville, Texas. Wayne was born December 19, 1934 the son of James Revy Davis and Lela Maude Berry Davis. Wayne married Dorothy Nell Wynn on January 1, 1995, she preceded in death. Wayne remarried on May 30, 1997 to Mary Janette Adams, she preceded him in death.

Wayne is survived by his son Michael Wayne Davis of Addison, Texas; daughter Becky Landrum and husband Keith Landrum of Quinlan; grandsons Tyler Wayne Landrum and wife Ryane Landrum of Greenville, Texas, Zachariah David Landrum and wife Josclyn of Quinlan, Texas; step daughters, Becky Leek and Dena Adams of Indiana; step granddaughters, Angela Knoph and Amanda Adams of Indiana; step grandson, Cameron Leek of Indiana. Wayne also had 14 great grandchildren.

Wayne was preceded in death by all of his brothers and sisters; Elgie Davis, Ina May Davis, Elmer Davis, Thelma Medders, Jean Stewart and Jane Blount.
