Grace Watters

Mar 31, 1945 — Jul 1, 2026

Richardson, Texas

Beloved daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother of 3, grandmother of 7 and great grandmother of 6, almost 7, Grace passed away July 1, 2026, at the age of 81 after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s and dementia.

Grace was born March 31, 1945, in Enid, OK, where she was raised. She was the 7th of 11 children born to Charles O. Price, Sr. and Hester M. Johnson Price. She moved to North Texas in 1970. She married Pascal Clark Watters July 31, 1964, and they raised 3 children together. She enjoyed her career at Fast Tax / Computer Language Research / Thomson Reuters. She also enjoyed working with her brother, Tom, in the insurance industry. As a teenager, she worked for a local bakery in Enid, where we are sure she learned her outstanding baking skills, including her infamous Italian cream and German chocolate cakes!

Grace was known for her giving spirit and servant heart. She loved making holiday treats to share with other departments she interacted with during her many years at Fast Tax. She was always there to help someone in need whenever and however she could. Even in her retirement, she enjoyed delivering meals on wheels, helping her church prepare treats for those incarcerated and helping with other community endeavors.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Pascal Clark Watters; brothers, David Price, Harold Price, Tom Price, Roy Price; and sisters, Trena Shaw and Rebecca Price.

She is survived by her children, Tonya Morris (Michael), Angela Cox (David), Todd Watters (Janice); grandchildren, Angela Piper (David), Alex Sturdivant (Logan), Kailyn Firouzbakht (Sam), Michaela Morris, Christina Crosby (Nick), Max Morris, and Natalie Rhoades (Tim); great grandchildren, Noah Piper, Daniel Piper, Hannah Piper, Fred Sturdivant, Catherine Sturdivant, Deacon Rhoades, and soon to be Charlie Firouzbakht. She is also survived by siblings, Martha Appel, Louie Price (Linda), Alice Sparks (Kenneth), and Paul Price (Sheri); sisters in law, Mary Price, Linda G. Price, and Cheryl Price; and many nieces and nephews.

She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her well.

Her family would like to thank the staff at Twin Rivers and Lovewell Hospice for their wonderful care and attention to her every need during her time with them. They would also like to thank Charles W. Smith Funeral Home for handling her memorial service and the staff at The Heights Church for managing all the details and their love during this time.
