Erich Matthew Szafran

Erich Matthew Szafran of Lavon, TX passed away unexpectedly on May 13, 2026. He was 44 years young. He never met a stranger and was always there to help everyone. He was our calm in the crazy times, and always balanced us out. Countless stories can be written about Erich. We ask that all of his family and friends continue to speak of him, his good deeds, and keep him in your memories. Please come share your stories so we can keep his spirit alive. Visitation will be held at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home - Sachse, 2925 Fifth Street, Sachse, TX  75048 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on May 28, 2026.
