In Loving Memory of Enrique "Henry" Ponse

Enrique "Henry" Ponse, age 45, of McKinney, Texas, passed away on July 7, 2026. He was born on July 3, 1981, and lived a life defined by hard work, dedication to his family, and a passion for helping others.

Henry was a proud high school graduate who built a career as a CDL driver. Always striving to learn and grow, he was attending school to become a diesel mechanic. He had a natural talent for working on vehicles and found great satisfaction in fixing things with his hands. Whether under the hood of a car or spending time with those he loved, Henry was happiest when he was surrounded by family.

Henry is survived by his loving mother, Saward Gough; his girlfriend, Deseray Gomez, his siblings, Benancio Ponse Jr, Jo Anna & husband, Jerry Garcia, Julie Ponse; and his beloved children; Aliza Perez, Eriq Perez, Joseph Perez, Brandon Perez, and Landon Ponse also his stepchildren, Daniella, Nathan and Jayson. He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory and carry his love with them always.

He was preceded in death by his father, Benancio Ponse Sr. and his grandparents Juan & Theadora Ponse, Guy & Nittaya Gough, his aunt Nieves Zuniga, his nephew, Zachary Ponse.

Henry will be remembered for his caring heart, his strong work ethic, and the love he had for his family. His presence brought comfort and strength to those around him, and his memory will continue to live the lives of all who knew and loved him.

Though his time with us was far too short, Henry's legacy of love, perseverance, and devotion to his family will never be forgotten. May he rest in eternal peace.
