Elizabeth Faye Hoyle

Jan 12, 1951 — Aug 28, 2026

Elizabeth Faye Hoyle, 75, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Elizabeth was born on January 12, 1951, in Cleburne, Texas, to H.R. and Mellie Floyd. She graduated from Cleburne High School in 1969 and later attended Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri.

A gifted and accomplished pianist, music was an important part of Elizabeth’s life. She shared that gift through music ministry at church and teaching piano lessons.

Elizabeth also enjoyed a long and successful career in the mortgage industry. She worked as a loan officer for more than 30 years, building relationships that extended far beyond business. Many of her customers, coworkers, and business partners became lifelong friends. She retired in 2020 after a rewarding career devoted to helping families and serving those around her.

In retirement, Elizabeth continued to give her time to others. She was a passionate advocate for children and adults with special needs, taught piano lessons, and treasured the time she was able to spend with her family.

Elizabeth is survived by her children, Dee Hoyle and Destiny Hoyle; her daughter-in-law, Geneva Hoyle; her sister, Alyce Stark; and her grandchildren, Brynn Hoyle and Tee Hoyle.

She was preceded in death by her father, H.R. Floyd; her mother, Mellie Floyd; her brother, Tommy Floyd; her sister, Lynda Corbin; and her niece, Karen Medeiros.

Elizabeth will be remembered for the many lives she touched through her family, her music, her career, and her commitment to those with special needs. The friendships she formed throughout her life and the love she had for her family are an enduring part of her legacy.

In honor of Elizabeth’s commitment to advocating for children and adults with special needs, memorial donations may be made to My Possibilities at mypossibilities.org.
