Rev. Edward J. Barrus, 81, of Wylie, TX. Born August 27, 1934 in Worcester, Mass. Graduate of Worcester Boy’s Trade High School, attended Hyles Anderson College in Indiana. He was a Korean War Veteran and former Commander and Chaplain American Legion Post # 50 Clinton, Mass. 1974 Founder and Pastor of Beth-el Baptist Church Leicester, Mass. 1996-2014 Pastor Faith Bible Baptist Church Clinton, Mass. WNEB Radio 1978-1987 The Pastor’s Study. Cable TV program, “The Pastor’s Study 2005-2014. He was predeceased by his parents, Edward Barrus Sr. and Dorcus Barrus, a sister, Barbara Ann Barrus. He leaves his wife Betty Barrus of 60 years, Children; Daughters; Barbara Bowen, Julie Baggett. Sons; David Barrus, Alan Barrus. Grandchildren; Jesse, Christopher, Heather, Emily, Seth and Zackary. Great-grandson; Andrew Edward Bowen. Siblings; Dorcas McCracken, Richard Barrus, Ronald Barrus, Gail Harrison, Russell Barrus, Evelyn Tomasso, Robert Barrus, Laura McCue and June Kemp.
