Edith Evelyn Browning

Edith Evelyn "Ev" Matheson Browning, age 91, passed away on Dec. 21, 2017 in Garland, TX. Ev was born into a large, loving Christian family and she served the Lord all the days of her life. She was sweet, caring, generous, hard-working, eccentric, funny, baked wonderful pies and was adored by countless individuals.Ev was preceded in death by: her parents, Monroe Pinckney Matheson and Euela Ellison Matheson;three brothers, five sisters and her grandson Gregory Browning.Sheis survived by: six children, Jerry Ted Browning, Dennis Glen Browning, Patricia Ann Browning, Gary Wayne Browning, Connie Browning Tanner and Mary Kay Browning Beckler;twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.Ev is also survived by one sister, Corinne Matheson Tinney and one brother, Jon Dee Matheson.A memorial service will be held in her honor on Sat., Jan. 6, 2018 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Eastgate Funeral Home.
