Doug Allen was born in Garland, Texas on July 12, 1968. Doug passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones Thursday, April 2, 2026. Doug was loved by so many. Dougie Fresh to his wife of 20 years, little brother, brother-in-law, Uncle Doug, best friend, amazing friend and Christ follower.

Doug was preceded in death by his parents, Roy & Ann Allen, along with his father-in-law Larry Lewis.

Doug is survived by his wife Loretta Allen, brother Keith Allen and wife Tammy, his nephew Mikah Allen and wife Sarah, great nieces Emery and Mara, his niece Danielle Rogge and husband Chris, great nephew Beckett and great niece Kennedy, his mother-in-law Debbie Lewis and uncle Ralph Jolley and wife Karen.

Doug fought a long 11-year battle with cancer and left nothing unturned. His fight was relentless, surpassing the odds again and again. There are so many incredible memories made with family and friends that will be cherished for years ahead by those he loved. He loved his family, his friends, his time spent outdoors and his relationship with Jesus. He’s at peace now with a healed body, in heaven in God’s presence and glory.

His family invites friends and loved ones to celebrate Doug's life and honor the memories shared together Friday, April 10, 2026, at 2:30PM, at The Cross Church located at 100 N. First Street, Wylie, Texas, 75098.
