Delores Ann Wortham

Delores Ann Wortham, 65, left us on November 29, 2022 with her family by her side at Medical City McKinney Hospital.

Delores Ann Wortham was born March 28, 1957 in Greenville, MS to George Laws and Mary W Lewis. She confessed her faith in Christ at a very early age. She was a member of the Greenville High School graduating class of 1975. After high school, she relocated to Texas where she attended North Texas Job Corps in McKinney Texas. She was a resident of Texas for more than 10 years during which time, she worked various jobs as a business administrator.

Her personal interests included family, Arts and crafts reading and baking. She devoted much of her time reading her Bible and spending time with family. Her charm and smile brightened rooms as well as people’s lives.

She was preceded in death by, her father, George Laws Sr, her brother, Larry B. Lewis, both paternal and maternal grandparents. She leaves to cherish her loving memories, (1) daughter, Reshema Peterson, a loving son-in-law, John Peterson (2)grandchildren, T.J. and Aniya, (4) sisters Rether Ervin, Janet(Levee) Wells, Delia Lewis, Marcia Watson, (4) brothers George Ervin, Edgar Laws, Stanley Laws, Eric Laws and George Laws Jr. (1) aunt, (4) uncles, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
