In loving memory of Charles David Hedrick
October 9, 1976 – September 14, 2026
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Charlie—a beloved son, nephew, singer, and tattoo artist. Charlie passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 49 on September 14, 2026, due to pneumonia.
He is preceded in death by his father, David Hedrick, and his mother, Connie Darlene Ener.
For more than 35 years, Charlie dedicated his life to music and tattooing, transforming ideas into living canvases and leaving a lasting mark on countless clients, friends, and fellow artists. Known for his incredible talent, creativity, and attention to detail, Charlie built a reputation as both an exceptional artist and someone who genuinely cared for everyone he met.
Beyond the studio, Charlie was known for his generous spirit, quick wit, and unwavering loyalty to family and friends. Whether offering encouragement to aspiring artists, sharing laughter, or simply being there for someone in need, he made a profound impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Charlie is survived by his Uncle Ralph Hedrick; his Aunt Loretta Hansen; his cousin Matthew, his wife Niki, and their children Caydyn and Tucker Hedrick; as well as cousins in Tennessee and Germany.
He is also survived on his mother’s side by his Uncle Tim Ener and wife Kathy; his Aunt Connie Ener (widow of his Uncle Travis Ener); and Kelly Daly, who helped raise him.
While his passing leaves an immeasurable void, the artwork, memories, and lives Charlie touched will serve as a lasting testament to a life lived with passion, authenticity, and heart.
"Art fades, but the impact we leave on others lasts forever."
May Charlie rest in peace, reunited with his parents, and forever remembered through the stories shared and the art that continues to inspire.
The family will gather to celebrate his life at a later date.
With love,
Aunt Loretta Hansen
