Carrol Collyer

Carrol Collyer, passed away at the age of 83: Beloved Father and Grandfather; Born on 01-29-1933. Carrol Collyer passed away on 02-06-2016 in his sleep and went to heaven due to a tough battle with cancer. He was survived by 2 of his 3 sons: Craig and Clint Collyer & wife Stephanie Collyer, 5 grandchildren: Chad Collyer, Chris Collyer, Bethany Collyer, Cody Kee & wife Tonya Kee, andMeagan Collyer with Jamie Hayle; and 3 great grandchildren. Carl Collyer, the oldest son had passed away in 2008. Carrol was a great man who acomplished so much during his life. He was in theMarines from 1951 through 1953 and then became a police officer for Sherman Texas. Later in his life he owned and operated Naomi's bar of Deep Ellum in Dallas Tx. He raised 3 sons with a lovingwife, Lynda Collyer, who together taught them how to hunt, race any type of vehicle that had a motor and showed love and loyalty to all that was blessed to be a part of their family and friends. He will be missed but never forgotten. Bless you dad and papaw for all the love and time you gave us.
