Brian Deer, born April 23, 1962, passed away at home June 21, 2026. He is survived by his mother, Jaqueline Deer; his wife Janella (married March 10, 1984); his sons Shawn (Jennifer) Deer and Caleb (Ashley) Deer; and his cherished grandchildren Sloane, Rylee, Axel, Blakely, Justin and Alex (Blair) and great grandson Brodie. He was preceded in death by his father, Carroll Deer. Brian lived a life full of adventure and skill. A nationally ranked traditional bow hunter, avid arrowhead hunter, and devoted knife collector, he spent the last five years crafting beautiful custom leather goods. For more than 20 years he traveled the world working for Stewart Systems, bringing dedication and professionalism to everything he did. Known for his quick wit and generous heart, Brian had a special way of making people laugh; if he teased you, it was because he cared. His proudest achievements were his children and grandchildren, and his family’s love was the center of his life.
