Bobbie Nell BeBee

August 4, 1934 — October 7, 2025

Sachse

Bobbie Nell Bebee, age 91, of Orange, Texas, passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior on October 7, 2025. Born on August 4, 1934, in Poplarville, Mississippi, she was the beloved daughter of Carlie and Hazel Holston.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and prayer warrior, Bobbie lived a life marked by unwavering faith, fierce love, and quiet strength. For over 25 years, she faithfully stood beside her husband, Rev. Thomas J. Bebee, serving congregations with grace and compassion. Her ministry extended beyond the pulpit as she cared for others as a home health provider, offering comfort and dignity to those in need.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Rev. Thomas J. Bebee; her children Kenneth Bebee, Ray Bebee, Timothy Bebee; and her stepdaughter Sandy Jostess. Her brothers Orvis Holston, Larry Holston and sister Iva Kidd.

She is survived by her children: Rita Stovall and husband Marvin, Charles Bebee and wife Sheila, and Cheryl Vaughan and husband Gary. She is also survived by her sister Darlene Vaughan.  Her legacy continues through 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren, each of whom she cherished deeply.

Bobbie’s love for her family and friends was her greatest gift. She found joy in the simple wonders of life—bird watching, especially hummingbirds, and tending to her vibrant rose gardens. She was known for her elegance, always dressed in heels and beautiful dresses, and for her love of seafood, particularly catfish, boiled crawfish and crab legs.

Her home was a sanctuary of prayer and hospitality. It was not uncommon to hear her praying throughout the day, lifting up loved ones and interceding for others. Her home was a sanctuary of warmth and welcome, especially during holidays when she somehow made room for everyone—spilling into the garage if needed—ensuring no one felt left out.

Bobbie was strong-willed and sure of what was right. Her faith in God was bold and contagious, and she never hesitated to share the gospel. She was a faithful companion, a nurturing matriarch, and a woman whose life radiated grace, strength, and devotion.

As one great-grandson beautifully shared, “Her strength, warmth, and devotion to God and family will continue to inspire us for generations to come. Though we’ll miss her deeply, we find peace knowing she’s now rejoicing in Heaven with her Savior and that her prayers are stored up and ready to be poured out.”

A celebration of Bobbie’s life will be held on Monday, October 13th, 2025, at the Pentecostal Church in Orange, Texas. Viewing will be at 11 am and service will start at 12 PM.

All who knew and loved her are welcome to attend and honor the remarkable woman she was.
