Billy Norman Lewis

Billy Norman Lewis our beloved husband, dad, and granddaddy passed away August 7, 2026 and is in Heaven with our Loving Lord.  He loved Christ with all his heart. He was a member of Freeman Heights Baptist Church in Garland for many years. He loved his family and his many friends.  He was a very giving and kind man always helping others.  One of his favorite things was to tell stories and make people laugh.  He loved fishing all his life as well as collecting antique toys, both of which he was a master.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him. 

Billy was a member of the Masonic Lodge 441 in Garland, Texas, Scottish Rite, and  a member ofHella Shrine.

Billy was born to Harry Lewis and Mary Polley on June 16, 1940 in Sherman, Texas.  He is preceded in death by his parents.  

Billy is survived by his wife of 64 years, Linda Lewis, son and daughter-in-law, Rodney and Sheila Lewis of Alba, Texas and favorite grandson Jeremy Paul Lewis of Rowlett.  Billy is also survived by brother-in-law Bennie Harrelson, step granddaughter Ashley Trieb of Emory, Texas and step great-grandchildren Cooper and Corlie Powell, Kyler Triebe, Aurora Meyer and many cousins and friends.

Billy has loved and touched many lives and will be missed beyond measure by all who knew him.
