Beverly Kay Pate

Beverly Kay Pate entered her eternal resting place on September 2, 2026. She was born on November 17, 1949 to Dalton Stacks and Irene Walker in Morrilton, Arkansas. She studied business in College, and she spent her professional career in Human Resources and Business Management. On December 9, 1972, she married Charley Jack Pate Jr. and moved to Texas where she dedicated her entire life to being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her grandchildren called her Mimi, a term many closest to her would refer to her as. A perfect day for her would consist of spending time with family and enjoying great food with those she loved most. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren whenever she could, and she spent her entire life dedicated to serving the Lord. For those that knew her best, they were blessed by her God-loving spirit. Her kindness and empathy for everyone she knew transcended far beyond what any words could describe. Her loss is immeasurable, but we know her purpose in this life has been fulfilled, and her new purpose has just begun. We know that she is rejoicing with a song of praise and worship as a heavenly angel. Psalms 46:10 says, "Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth." Every day that passes by, we will remember her, the impression she left in our minds, and the love we feel for her in our hearts.

I saw it tonight, will I see it tomorrow?
This light made me smile and eased all my sorrow

Beverly is survived by her daughter, Amy Kirkpatrick of Wylie, Texas; son, Todd Pate of Granbury, Texas; granddaughter, Amber Kirkpatrick and husband, Christopher "Cutter" Lloyd of Oak Point, Texas; granddaughter, Madison “Maddie” Maxcy of Wylie, Texas; great-granddaughter, Stevie Jo Lloyd of Oak Point, Texas; nephew, Michael Chester and wife, Kim Chester of Nashville, Tennessee; and niece, Kay Stephens of Conway, Arkansas.

The funeral service will he held at 1:00 PM on September 17, 2026 at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery located 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211.
