Betty Jane Brown, 94, of McKinney, Texas was born on January 23, 1928 in Missouri Valley, Iowa to John and Irene (Christiansen) Lynch. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Allen, Texas and a member of the Sunday School Class XYZ's.
Betty married Mr. Orla Brown on February 2, 1957 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She was a Homemaker, part time Retail and Office and Nurse.
She was preceded in death by her husband Orla Brown, son; Jim Holmes, granddaughter; Robin Roach, daughter-in-law; Laura Holmes.
She is survived by daughter-in-law Pat Holmes of Plano, Texas, son; Steve and Annette Holmes of Caribou, Maine, daughter; Lorie and Rick Gillean of Georgetown, Texas, son; Ron and DeDe Brown of Nevada, Texas. Six grandchildren and Eight great-grandchildren.
