Betty Barrus

Betty Barrus, 87, of Wylie, TX and formerly Massachusetts, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2023.  born on December 30, 1935, to Alfred and Minerva Cooper, and married Edward J. Barrus, Jr. on October 15, 1955.  Edward passed away on February 12, 2016.  Betty is survved by her four children, Barbara, David, Julie, and Alan.  She is also survived by six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  Betty served alongside her husband in the ministry for over 40 years.  A private graveside service will be held.  Memorial contributions can be made online at parksidebaptist.org.  Condolences can be viewed at edbarrus.com.
