Bennie Earl Nicholson, Sr. was born April 24, 1943 and passed away April 17, 2023. He was born in Union, Mississippi.
Earl was a member of New Heights Baptist Church, Wylie, TX and a member of Masonic Lodge 586, Nevada, Texas. He retired from Garland ISD as a purchasing agent. He served in the US Army.
Earl is survived by his wife, Loretta Nicholson; daughter Stephanie Seidmeyer and husband Steve of Nevada, TX; son Stephen Worsen and wife Tammy of Grand Saline, TX. He had 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 5 sisters, 3 brothers and many nieces and nephews.
Earl was preceded in death by his son, Bennie Earl Nicholson, Jr. and 2 sisters and 3 brothers.
Services will be at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home in Lavon, TX and burial will be at Nevada Cemetery.
